I just published a blog post at my alter-ego's website at http://www.AkitaWoof.com, after which I thought to myself, "why not bring it over to my niche site as well" since it contains the "Brain" factor.  So, here goes:

Quote/Unquote:

Is it just me or is everyone else also interested in the “Brain” lately?  For those “not in the know” (so to speak), I am also the founder of my niche site at http://www.CreativeThinkingForWomen.com.  Yes, “Creative Thinking” has everything to do with the “Brain”.  So, if you’re keen to find out what it is that makes our uppermost torso tick, all you have to do is log onto my website way yonder.  Otherwise, hang around here for my “rants, raves and ramblings” of the “entertainment” kind.  Yes, you know it - television, movies, music, etc etc.

Well, on to today’s subject matter - the BRAIN!!  Yes, we find many a superior quality-rated television series centred on the “brain” theme.  I’m surprised by the many different ways these television series are able to manifest themselves.  I guess “creativity” still exists in the “entertainment” world.

Just to name a few (in no particular order), we have:  Fringe,
Dollhouse, My Own Worst Enemy, Chuck.  And somewhat related, we also have:  The Mentalist, Eli Stone, Lie To Me.

A pity though that some of the above shows have already been cancelled or about to be cancelled.  But, we can always count on the “re-runs”.  What I like most about the theme of all these shows or rather, why I like them is because after watching each episode, it makes me “think”.  The “brain” connection is somewhat infectious.  And that’s a good thing, yes??  Right…

Now, if I “think” and “feel” that these shows are pretty good as far as being able to provide the essential stuff much needed in the “entertainment” department, not to mention loading enough “smartness” onto us humble viewers, why in tarnation are some of these shows taken off?  Ratings too low??  Yah, right!!  Most of us do not reside in the States.  So, we don’t count, right??  I’m sure I speak on behalf of most viewers/fans out there - scattered all over the globe - that “the powers that be” who make the decision to pull out the plug from under these finely-crafted shows, should have their “brains” tested!!

But then again, what else can I do??  Sigh… I guess I’ll just pray really hard for miracles to happen.

Dare I hope that some of these cancelled shows will be brought back??  Another “sigh” follows…
