As the year draws to a close and New Year Resolutions are being considered but never by me (because I think it's a waste of time and energy), we reflect on the last 365 days (give or take a day depending on whether it's a leap year) and our brain does a rewinding of sorts and does a frame-by-frame take on what's been happening thus far in our personal lives as well as that of the rest of the world.

Yes we all have a brain - with a mind of its own.  Consciously or unconsciously, it will race back and forth in its memory search for events that have had an impact on our lives this past year.  Big or small, directly or indirectly, our lives could have been changed by incidents that had occurred within our own social circle or we could have been affected

by some global catastrophe that may not have had a physical impact upon us but on a mental and emotional level, has had far-reaching consequences.

It is during these times that I realise how small and vulnerable we all are and how precious time is to each and every one of us.  Yes, we are all on borrowed time and short of sounding like a crazy prophet proclaiming the end of the world is just right around the corner, we should at least spend whatever time we have left a little more wisely.

And how, you might ask?  Well, I'm no expert.  All I can say is, put on your thinking cap come 2011, keep visiting my niche site for those "creative thinking" articles and you just might figure out how.

Until then, "A Very Merry Christmas & A Wonderful New Year Ahead To One And All !!!"
